Trunk Card Features:

• Selection function for E1, T1 and ISDN PRI (via programming), and functions as the Q-SIG
• Transmits voice via the trunk line and a channel transmits the voice data of 64Kbps
• Functions of a resistance circuit that satisfies both of the T1 (100Ω) and E1 (120Ω)
• Output port protection for line monitors
• Provides selectable line Codecs (HDB3, AMI)
• Local/remote loop function
• Functions for the HDLC or Common Associated Signaling (CAS) through the Common Channel Signaling (CCS)
• This card can be installed in slots 3, 4, and 5 of the main cabinet and slot 3 of the expansion cabinet
• A maximum of (4) PRI/TEPRIa boards can be installed per system

• When programmed as a T1 card, it provides up to 24 trunk circuits in any combination of the following:
• Loop start lines
• DID (Direct Inward Dialing)
• Ground start lines
• E & M tie lines or two way DID calling
• When programmed as a PRI it will provide 23 bearer channels and 1 data channel (23B+D)
