Multiplexers can be “daisy chained”, addressed, and controlled by a single control panel. It can also be addressed by a computer using either an RS-232 or RS-485 connection.
Multiplexer Features:
- Nonvolatile Program Memory: User’s configuration is saved and stored in nonvolatile memory to protect against loss of settings during power outages
- VCR Switch Pulse Input: Allows for synchronization with VCR's that have the switch pulse feature
- Full Triplex Operation: Allows for simultaneous recording, playback, and live viewing
- On-screen display includes date, time, alarm status, video loss, camera number, and 24-character camera titles
- Multiple user-selectable formats for displaying camera images
- Able to decode tapes from many other brands of multiplexers
- Multiple monitor outputs (1 main, 1 auxiliary) allow simultaneous multi-camera and full screen viewing
- Each camera has a programmable 256-target (16 x 16) motion-detection grid
- Compatible with standard color cameras and other video sources
- Programmable day and night motion-detection schedules
- Alarm input polarity is user selectable
- One TTL/CMOS contact closure alarm for each camera
- 256-event alarm history log
- Digital zooming up to 32 times the original scene
- BNC auxiliary output can be used for “spot” monitor or as sources of video for other devices
