Shielded QuickPort Patch Panel with cable management bar included protects critical data from EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference). Patch Panel Features:
- Shielding provides both EMI/RFI protection and data security
- Includes star washers and grounding lug for flexibility in panel grounding
- Stainless steel plate provides grounding continuity between connectors and panel
- Design Considerations:
- Verify rack is grounded according to commercial building grounding and bonding requirements for telecommunications
- Expose enough cable shield (1.0”) to properly ground to the connector
- Use flush cut trimmers to remove exposed twisted pairs from IDCs
- Mounts on 19” equipment racks
