The phone operates with IP telephony systems based on Cisco Call Manager Technology, H.323, or SIP.

- Hearing-aid compatible handset, which meets ADA requirements
- Configuration can either be automatic or manually set up for DHCP, TFTP, Cisco CallManager, and backup Cisco CallManagers
- Global Version has Icon buttons
- Two programmable line/feature buttons and four interactive soft keys
