This managed switch is specifically designed for small enterprise workgroups and branch office environments. It offers 8 wirespeed 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch ports and a fixed Gigabit copper uplink for demanding server or backbone connections. The fully manageable platform offers powerful traffic prioritization and security features such as 802.1X and RADIUS server authentication. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support provides a seamless path for integrating wireless access points, IP phones or other PoE devices.

The switch can be securely and remotely managed from a central main office location using a command line interface (serial or SSH), Web-interface (HTTP or HTTPS), or Telnet.
