DTX Fiber Test Kit allow one to use a DTX CableAnalyzer to measure optical power and insertion loss in fiber optic cabling.
Test Kit Features:
- Optical power meter (Model #: DTX-FOM2) installs into DTX CableAnalyzer main unit to make optical power measurements at 850 nm, 1300 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm
- SimpliFiber Pro 850/1300 is an optical light source that
uses LEDs to supply light at 850 nm and 1300 nm
- Make loss measurements that the tester can compare with a user-defined standard
- Verify that cabling is correctly installed
- Helps one do troubleshooting procedures on fiber optic devices
- Save and organize test records in internal memory or on a secure digital multimedia card (SD MMC)
- Manage test results on PC and make printed reports using LinkWare software (included)
