For use with the HKAVR A/V Receiver and the HKABH A-Bus hub. The A-Bus system topology enables an Audio/Video Receiver also to operate a complete multi-room amplified system from a single location. The A-Bus volume controls incorporate a compact, high-quality audio amplifier to play a pre-assigned audio source (coming from the receiver’s multi-room output jacks and distributed through the hub) in a room when connected to in-wall or ceiling speakers in that room, and to distribute a second assigned audio source to up to four rooms/zones equipped with A-Bus volume controls.
Volume Control Features:
- For use with the A-BUS Ready® HKAVR A/V Receiver which can operate up to four rooms/zones of distributed A-BUS audio (with the HKABH Hub)
- The A-Bus system topology enables an Audio/Video Receiver to also operate a complete multi-room amplified system from a single location
- Decora® up/down amplified rocker-style volume control powers dedicated speakers in a single room/zone
- Built-in IR sensor accepts control commands to A/V receiver or other compatible components
- Fits in standard J-box or low-voltage mounting ring
- Output level trim pots
- Uses Category 5/5e UTP cabling
