LanScaperPRO Cabling and Network Tester with Eight Cable Test Remotes and Probe identifies, monitors, and corrects LAN issues associated with physical layer and link conditions in the network.
Features:
- Identifies and measures power delivered by IEEE 802.3af PoE and legacy cisco in-line power
- Detects and reports speed and capabilities for active Ethernet and other devices up to 1 Gbps
- Simultaneously pings three addresses at once to verify connectivity to network devices
- Blinks link indicator to identify hub or switch port and links to cisco bridge or router ports using Cisco discovery protocol
- Provides full cabling testing, displaying wiremap, ID, and any faults, including shorts, opens, miswires, split pairs, and reverses
- Displays length measurement for each pair in feet or meters
- Generates selectable tones on selected pins for use with tone tracers
- Back-lit alphanumeric LCD with icon flags
- Enables quick identification at unknown RJ45 jacks for active Ethernet, POTS, token ring, or other devices
- Conduct single ended and remote cable tests with display of PASS, wiremap, ID, and faults for network cable
