Solid state, remote programmable, digital recorder that stores audio messages for information on-hold. This unit also answers the line and gives messages to customers who call after hours. All programming features can be controlled remotely or over the telephone line.
With a built-in programmable time-of-day clock, you can program in the night answer mode. There is also a built-in switch that allows you to over-ride the clock.
In night answer mode, the RNT 2700 answers the line on the first ring and plays a message (32 to 45 seconds in length depending on model) to the caller and hangs up. The RNT 2700 is immediately available to answer the next call.
A call counter counts the number of calls the unit receives. Knowing the number of after hours calls gives you important decision making information.
