Telephone Paging Access Module is a paging module that provides a means of interfacing various analog telephone port types to a paging system amplifier. This enables a facilityʼs telephone system to be used to make audio announcements over its paging system.

TAMB2 Paging Access Module Features:

• The TAMB2 will interface to analog loop start and ground start trunk ports as well as analog ring-up station lines
• Allows for the connecting of an external audio or music source that will play over the paging system when no pages are in progress
• Various DIP switches and controls provide a wide range of flexibility over how the access module will operate
• Can be mounted on a wall, mounted as a single unit in a rack (optional rack mount kit required) or mounted 2-up, side-by-side in a single rack space
• Loop start, ground start, and station port (90V ring up) compatibility

• Built-in confirmation tone indicating access to paging system (defeatable)
• Built-in pre-announce tone produced over paging system before announcement (defeatable)

controlled using a combination of disconnect timer, silence interval timer, and Calling Party Control (CPC) signal detection
• Disconnect VOX timer is adjustable from 1 to 11 seconds (defeatable)
• Station Port maximum page times from 1 - 200 seconds
• VOX and default timers independently inhibitable
• Calling Party Control (CPC) signal from switch immediately disconnects station port
• 1 C-Form (N.O. and N.C.) contact pair available for operating external equipment
• Trunk Timer feature helps prevent system blockage
