The LDF Loudspeaker Intercom and External Control System is designed for communication between a central master station and remote intercom stations. The LDF is an expanded feature version of the LAF-C/CA system. All information regarding installation other than the external control functions is included in the LAF-C/CA instructions. The LDF-C and LDF-CA console intercom system provides the same features as the LAF-C/CA, but with the added ability to selectively control remote devices (such as door strikes, maglocks, lights, alarm contacts, etc.). Masters are available in 20 and 40 station sizes, with or without a handset. Add-on selectors with 20 or 40 station capacity can be connected to expand the system. Single or multi-master capability, fully intermixable with all LEF series components. In addition to communication to remote locations, external devices can be activated, such as activating a CCTV camera when the associated sub station is selected, selectively controlling the corresponding door strike or maglock, or both.
